The Clock Tower, built in the 16th century, is a remarkable monument, since the period when Bulgaria was under Ottoman slavery. It is considered to be one of the oldest clock towers in Eastern Europe and a first city clock in the Ottoman Empire. In 1883 in the tower was put a new, bigger clock, which was made in Vienna. The bell rings once every 2 minutes on the hour. The clock in the tower doesn’t have а dial-plate. Аt 12 o’clock AM and PM the bell rings 24 times.

The Clock Tower is situated 600 meters away from the house.
